Through a cooperative effort with area churches, the Flushing Christian Outreach Center will connect people in need with existing ministries and available resources.
Food Pantry
About 90 families per month are given food that has been donated by others in our community. Churches, schools, businesses, and individuals provide this assistance to those in our community in need through periodic food drives and donations. The Food Pantry is used to provide families with temporary support when they find themselves in emergency situations or while they are completing the process of qualifying for food stamps. Families in need of food are encouraged to call the FCOC at (810) 487-2223 to talk with a volunteer and schedule an appointment.
Clothes Closet
Individuals and families are invited to visit the Clothes Closet once each month where they may choose from clothing that is donated from individuals and churches in our community.
